It’s probably time for a Seasonal Rebirth if you can’t seem to get in the swing of things this season.

When a new season rolls around, we often have “trapped” energy left over from the season before. A Seasonal Rebirth helps combat this by renewing your energy, making you feel brand new.

I do this “rebirth” routine a few times each year, and I feel like a new person once it’s all over.

Are you ready to feel like the best version of yourself? Do these four steps today and reap the incredible benefits!

Tip # 1: Seasonal Cleaning

Have you ever noticed how great you feel after you’ve cleaned a cluttered room? You probably felt lighter, recharged, and more at peace.

It’s been proven that a clean space is linked to an improved mental state.

So, the first step to renewing your energy this season is by cleaning. In which room(s) do you spend most of your time? Have they been neglected for a while and need some TLC?

I know that cleaning can sometimes be a daunting task, but remember that you don’t need to do it all in one day if it’s too overwhelming for you. That’s the OPPOSITE of how I want you to feel.

Take a few days if needed, and do a good deep-clean to your space.

Some ways that you can deep clean a room:

– Dust your ceiling fan and ceiling beams

– Wash your curtains

– Donate items you no longer need/use

– Clean your floor trim

– Sweep and mop your floors

– Shampoo and vacuum your carpet

These are some of my favorite products and appliances that I clean with:

Also, I recommend turning on some music while doing your deep clean. By listening to your favorite songs, you’ll be surprised at how easy and fun cleaning up can become!

Tip # 2: Spend Time in Nature

How can we have a Seasonal Rebirth without nature?

One of the easiest ways you can recharge is by going outside and being around Mother Nature.

Any time you’re feeling anxious or unmotivated, ask yourself, “When was the last time I spent time outdoors, surrounded by grass, trees, and birds?”

In the digital world we’re in, many people aren’t spending as much time in nature as they should.

Sunlight is so important to your health and mental state, so try your best to go outside each day, even if it’s only for a few minutes.

I typically like to go on my back patio and get some of my work done there.

I’ll also make time to meditate, read a book, or relax as the wind breezes around me.

If you’re someone who’s into hiking or kayaking, go for it!

Maybe you like taking walks in the park or going for morning jogs in your neighborhood. Pick an outdoor hobby and be consistent with it. You’ll feel renewed after a few days of doing it!

Tip # 3: Planting and Flower Power

In honor of my routine Seasonal Rebirths, I try to make a habit of planting something during the springtime.

I know that not everyone was born with a green thumb (myself included), but the art of planting symbolizes rebirth in its purest form.

You’re giving something a new life and a fresh beginning, which is the same thing you’re doing for yourself.

If gardening isn’t your thing, another way to recharge your energy is by getting houseplants. The most you’ll have to do is water them and make sure they’re getting the correct amount of sunlight.

Some indoor plants I recommend are:

– Spider plants

– Boston ferns

– Peace Lillies

– Snake plants

These plants are also air-purifying, so they help get rid of toxins in your rooms.

Buy some seeds to plant in your backyard or some plants to liven up your indoor space and feel your energy transform.

Tip # 4: Positive Affirmations

There is much power in positive affirmations. We must be mindful of the words that leave our mouths and the floating thoughts in our heads.

Negative self-talk can become a common practice if you’re not actively saying affirmations each day. Positive affirmations can also help to change your outlook on a situation.

Have you ever had a rough day, and instead of trying to find some good in it, you said something similar to:

– “This is the most horrible day of my life.”

– “I can’t do anything right.”

Saying those things didn’t make you feel better about your situation, did they? When you’re having a bad day, try saying one of these affirmations instead:

– “Today will still be a great day.”

– “I choose to be happy, despite my circumstances.”

– “Things aren’t going as planned, but I can still turn things around.”

You have the power to choose how you respond to every life situation. Try adding positive affirmations into your daily life and watch a new world unfold right before your eyes.
